Rambling from Kettlewell to Arncliffe, England

kettlewell bridge and ridge

In case you’re joining right now, these pictures accompany my debut novel which starts in Kettlewell. Stephanie Hale travels to England after her husband died, and her first hike in England begin here. She crosses the River Wharfe and walks up over this ridge to the village of Arncliffe. The spectacular view from the top of the ridge is worth the uphill exertion. It’s only six miles round trip, just right for Stephanie. Do you have other rambles in the Yorkshire Dales to recommend?
